JNU MCA 2025 Exam- Registration Dates, Syllabus, Eligibility, Pattern

The JNU MCA 2025  exam schedule has been given below. The candidates can check the important dates and prepare themselves accordingly. These dates are the tentative exam schedule, the exam authority has not announced the dates yet.

The eligibility criteria for JNU MCA 2025 are given below. The candidates need to meet the eligibility criteria before proceeding further, if they do not match the criteria, their admission might be canceled. The following are the criteria to be followed:

• The applicant must have a bachelor’s degree of 3 years from a recognized university.
• The candidate should have a 55% aggregate in graduation from any stream.
• In graduation or in 12th grade, the candidate should have mathematics on the syllabus.
• NRIs are also eligible for this exam.
• Candidates who are appearing for the final year exam can also apply for the entrance exam.

The application form of JNU MCA 2025 will be available both online and offline. The registration will start in February 2025.Below are the two processes for the registration of the application form:

• The candidates need to visit the online website of JNU MCA 2025 on www.jnu.ac.in.
• Click the new registration link (once the Admission Notification is available).
• Once the candidate registers, they will be provided with the login user ID and password.
• The application form will appear on the screen, and the applicants need to enter all the necessary details to fill the form. All the proper information is to be provided in detail.
• The candidates need to upload a scanned recent photograph and their signature.
• Payment of the application form can be done both via offline and online.
• After the payment, the candidates need to submit the application form.

APPLICATION FORM FEE:

• For general category candidates: Rs. 220/-
• For SC/ST Candidate: Rs. 110/-
• For OBC candidate: Rs. 130/-

The JNU MCA 2025 question pattern will be objective-type questions in the Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) pattern. The questions will be based mainly on mathematics, general aptitude, and reasoning.
The following is the marks distribution of the exam:

The JNU MCA 2025 admit card will be available online on the official website. The admit can be downloaded from the official site in May 2025. After the download of the admit card, the candidate needs to paste their recent passport size photographs in the allotted space on the card. The candidates need to carry the same at the time of the examination. The admit card has to be valid, otherwise, the candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam center.

The result of JNU MCA 2025 will be announced in the month of June 2025 .The applicants can check the result online on the official website. After the successful completion of the entrance test,, the result will be declared and then the counseling will begin.

JNU MCA 2025 counselling will be based on the merit list of the scores obtained by the candidates. The JNU Exam Authority will prepare the score list. The admission procedure will begin in the month of July 2025. A written exam and personal interview will serve as the basis for admission. The admissions session will close by August 2025.

The exam centres for JNU MCA 2025 will be across India. There will be 51 centers located all over the country. The exam center will be mentioned on the admit card. Once the exam center is allotted, there will be no changes in the center, unless there is a change from the university. The university itself assigns the exam center options.
