Institute of Banking Personnel Selection [IBPS RRB]
Institute of Banking Personnel Selection or IBPS conducts IBPS examination every year. This examination is exclusively for those candidates who are willing to seek a job in the banking sector. This year the examination will be conducted tentatively in September to recruit Group A officers of Scale I, II, and III. Group B for Regional Rural banks is also recruited through this examination. Candidates willing to take this examination should fill the application form online. The registration process for this examination will start tentatively from July.
In the year 2024. a huge number of candidates will be recreated. The application form for IBPS RRB can be filled only through the official website. Candidates who are willing to meet the eligibility criteria should apply for appearing in the entrance examination. It is a prerequisite to meet the eligibility criteria as failing to meet them may lead to a disqualification in the later off stage. There will be 2 rounds of this examination, a Pre-Main and Final Interview.
The arrangement for conducting the online preliminary examination for office Assistant and officer's scale will be made first. After the online preliminary examination results, the shortlisted candidates will be informed about the online examination. IBPS conducts a single level exam for scale II and scales III. IBPS will declare the results of the main examination.

IBPS RRB 2024 Exam Date
A preliminary examination for the post of officer scale I and office assistant will be conducted on 9th, 10th, 16th, 17th, 23rd and 24th September 2024. For officer scale I, the main examination will be conducted on 5th November whereas, for office assistants, the main examination will be conducted on November 2024. The interview process will be conducted tentatively in the month of November and December.
IBPS RRB 2024 Eligibility criteria
It is essential to meet the eligibility norms for appearing in the IBPS RRB examination. Candidates should have completed the graduation from a recognized university in any discipline for appearing in the examination for Office Scale I and office assistant. The candidate should also have local and Computer Language knowledge for officer scale I and office assistant.
For the post of a Chartered accountant, the candidate needs to appear for CA position. For the position of law officer scale III, candidates need to attain an aggregate of 50% marks in graduation along with a year of experience.
For officer scale III, candidates need to have an experience of 5 years along with an aggregate of 50% in graduation. For officer scale I and office assistant, the candidate should be between 18 to 28 years of age. For officer scale I, the age limit is between 21 to 32 years whereas, for officer scale III, the age limit should be between 21 to 40 years of age.
IBPS RRB 2024 Application Form & fees
Candidates who are willing to appear for IBPS RRB should fill the application form prior to the last date. Candidates can login to the official website of IBPS for downloading the application form. You need to submit personal details prior to filling the application form.
For officer scale I, II and III and office assistant, general candidates need to submit an application fee of Rs. 600 whereas Schedule caste, schedule tribe, and physically handicapped students need to pay an application fee of Rs. 100.
IBPS RRB 2024 Syllabus & Exam Pattern
It is essential to know about the syllabus of IBPS RRB for a better preparation for the examination. The questions are primarily divided into five sections which are inclusive of Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, Language (Hindi or English), Financial/ General Awareness and Computer Knowledge.
There are total 200 questions in the question paper. Negative marking is applicable in this examination. 1/4th mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. Hence, candidates should be extra careful while answering the question papers. There is a time allotment of 2 hours for completing the question paper.
IBPS RRB 2024 Results & Score Card
The admit card will be soon released after the submission of application form in a successful manner. Candidates need to download the admit card from the official website of IBPS. The admit card is considered to be an integral document of the examination. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination venue without the admit card.
Admit card will consist of all the necessary information such as name and roll number of the candidate, place and time of the examination. It is a prerequisite to taking a printout of the admit card after downloading the same.
IBPS RRB 2024 Results & Score Card
General candidates need to obtain a minimum of 40% marks for qualifying in the examination. Schedule caste and schedule tribe candidates, on the other hand, should score at least 35% marks in the examination. Candidates who have scored the least qualifying marks in the written test can go to the official website of the authority for downloading the interview letter.
