Tilak Dhari P.G College is one of the topmost colleges in Uttar Pradesh State. Initially, Sri Tilak Dhari Singh established the institution in 1914 as an English Middle School. In 1916, it was designated as Kshatriya High School. In 1940, it evolved into an intermediate. It became affiliated with Agra University in July 1947 and was given the status of a degree college. In 1956, it changed its affiliation to Gorakhpur University. After a protracted dispute led by the then-principal Sri H N Singh, it was granted the title of Post Graduation in 1970.

TD college is around 2.5 kilometers from Jaunpur City Station and 4 kilometers from Jaunpur Junction. The distance to the Roadways Depot is 300 meters. Thus, it has a solid connection to Rail and roads. The college has more than 200 teachers who are well-qualified and highly experienced. Most prominently, all the tutors are Ph.D. holders. In addition, there are more than 12,000 students in this college pursuing various courses. Some of them have traveled overseas for academic tasks. Various departments, almost 70% of which are working on research projects. Many of them have written articles and research papers for publications in both domestic and foreign periodicals.

Tilak Dhari PG College  Courses are available at UG and PG levels in the streams like Arts, Science, Social science, commerce, law, and education. Besides, it has been accredited by NAAC with a "B" grade. The college is renowned for both the caliber of its research and the unique teaching techniques it employs. Tilak Dhari P. G. College Courses and fees

In the science stream, B.Sc. in Agriculture is available, for which the TD College Jaunpur fee is INR 4,800 per annum. The intake of the BSc Agriculture is 220 seats yearly. Whereas the general B.Sc. programs has 467 intake capacity on an annual basis, and the fee structure would be INR 3,180 annually. At the PG level, the college offers admission to the MSC; the fees would be approximately INR 3k.

  • In the Law Stream, LLB has an intake of 300 seats on an annual basis. The fee structure for LLB will be Rs. 7,200 per annum.
  • Tilak Dhari College B Com fees is INR 3,060 per annum. Whereas the annual intake is 360 seats. The fee structure of the BA course will also be the same.

To be eligible for LLM admission at Tilak Dhari P.G. College, You must have a completed 3 or 5 year integrated LLB with a minimum 50% marks. Admission is based on an entrance exam conducted by the college, called TDPGCET, followed by counselling. Tilak Dhari P.G. College fees for LLM is approx. 38,000 per annum. In order to apply, you need to first register for the exam by accessing the official website of college. The registeration fees is INR 100. The last date to register is 25th June 2025. The documents which need to be submitted include LLB Marks Sheets and Certificates, Transfer Certificates, Category Certificates (applicable), Passport Size Photo and Valid ID Proof.
