The University of Lucknow, also known as Lucknow University, is a public state university established in 1920. It is one of the oldest government-owned institutions in India. The University's main campus is located at Badshah Bagh, and another campus is situated at Jankipuram. Raja Sir Mohammad Ali Mohammad Khan and other visionary leaders initiated the idea of starting the University.
