Shridevi Institute of Engineering and Technology was brought into existence in 2002 in Tumakuru city of Indian state Karnataka. The institute is functioning under the aegis of Sri Shridevi Charitable Trust and is certified by ISO 9001:2000 and is recognized by the Government of Karnataka. The institute was established with a motto to provide quality education to the aspirants in engineering.

B.Tech at SIET Tumkur: Candidates must have passed the Class 10+2 exam from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects. They must also have secured minimum aggregate marks of 60% in the above subjects combined.

MBA at SIET Tumkur: The minimum eligibility criterion for admission is at least a 3-year bachelor's degree with at least 50 percent marks or any recognized university equivalent.

M.Tech at SIET, Tumkur: Candidates who have completed their BE/BTech degree with a valid GATE score are eligible for the ME/MTech degree course.

Ph.D. at SIET, Tumkur: Aspirants are eligible to pursue a Ph.D. course only if they have completed their master's degree in a similar course/ field/ stream
