Sri Siddhartha Academy of Higher Education (SSAHE) is a Deemed to be University that was started as per the UGC act section 3 of 1956 in the academic year 2008-09. SSAHE is also known as Sri Siddhartha University, and the Sri Siddhartha Education Society currently sponsors it. The University has three constituent colleges, Sri Siddhartha Medical College, Sri Siddhartha Institute of Technology, and Sri Siddhartha Dental College.
The university offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the stream of Engineering, Medical, and Dental, such as MBBS, MD, MS, PGD, BDS, MDS, BE, M.Tech, and MCA. The University is situated on 275 acres of land in lush green for encouraging educational activities in Tumkur, Karnataka.
- SSAHE Tumkur Admission process for BE is based on CET, M.Tech & MCA is based on PGCET, and other courses admission is based on NEET UG/PG exams.
- SSAHE Tumkur Hostel for girls in 4 buildings and boys in six buildings is provided with the University campus all necessary facilities.
- SSAHE Tumkur Fee Structure for the courses will be set by the Fee Fixation Committee present in the University every year.
- SSAHE Tumkur Placement cell has the main objective of guaranteeing 100% placement for all the students by training them as per current corporate demand.
The university has approval and recognition from AICTE, UGC, MCI, and DCI to offer mentioned courses. SSAHE Tumkur has a reservation policy for admission to the courses as per the Indian Government norms, such as 8% of the total seats are reserved for ST Category students, 15% of the seats are reserved for SC category students, 27% seats reserved for OBC category students and remaining 50% seats reserved for General category students.
