RAJENDRA AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY

Rajendra Agricultural University is famous for providing education to students in agricultural engineering and research. It is a public university that offers undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and certification programs in agriculture. Before, the university was called the Imperial Agricultural Research Institute, accredited and recognized by Central University in India.

• The hostel has single and double seater arrangement which can accommodate more than 450 students separately for both boys and girls.
• The students are encouraged in extra activities like NCC, NSS, Dance, Sports, and Music to help them achieve overall development.
• The university has various departments like Microbiology, forestry, extension education, nematology, entomology, plant pathology, plant breeding and genetics, social science, agricultural economics, and agronomy.

To get admissions for various courses offered in the university, the candidates have to clear the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE) as per the reservation cutoff. The university offers courses like B.Tech, B.Sc., B.F.Sc., M.Sc., M.Tech, MBA, M.F.Sc., and Ph.D. Some university recruiters are Monsanto, Crystal, Agrevolution, Aditya Group, KRIBHCO, NCML, and Dr. Reddy’s Foundation, OU Pont, Axis Bank, etc.
