Aryabhatta Knowledge University

Aryabhatta Knowledge University (AKU) is a nonprofit university started by the government in 2008. The university provides education in medical, technical, management, and research-based courses to make them industry-ready to face the challenges. AKU aims to provide quality education to students per national and international standards with well-experienced lecturers.

• The university provides education in Nano Technology and Biotechnology, Engineering and Technology, Management, Health Technology, Medicine, Optometry, Education, Public Health Pharmacy, etc.
• The students are trained to improve their employability, leadership, communication, entrepreneurship, and other qualities.
• Research opportunities are encouraged among the students to develop creativity and innovation along with improving society.
• It is a state university accredited by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and is approved by University Grants Commission (UGC).

The university is nearly 450m from the Mithapur Bus Station and has 11 hostels for students away from home. In addition, the university provides various scholarships to the students, like Malaysia International Scholarship, Inspire Scholarship, UWA India Scholarship, SJTU Scholarship, Dr Manmohan Singh Scholarship, Max Weber Foundation for Young Scientists/Female in the Humanities Australian Scholarship, etc.

Courses offered-

Placement-

The placement cell of the university trains the students in such a way it makes them industry-ready and meets the changes in the industries.

Reputed companies like Amazon, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Tata Consultancy Services, IBM, HCL, etc., hire students every year.

Mock interviews are conducted to familiarise the students with the aptitude, group discussion, and HR round.

Hostel fee-

The university provides nearly 11 hostels within the campus for both boys and girls with all the basic requirements.

The rooms have a TV, bed, and attached washroom, study area, washing area, and courts for indoor games as a source of refreshment.

The hostel and mess facility fee is feasible for the students of all the rural and tribal sectors of society.

Cutoff-

The candidates interested in joining the B.Tech courses offered in the university have to clear the entrance exams like JEE Main, and for M.Tech, the GATE exam has to be removed with a good rank.

For MBA courses with various specializations offered in the university, the candidates have to score a good rank in the GMAT, CAT, and XAT exams.
