The institute was founded in 1983 under Vikas Seva Sansthan's auspices to provide for society to share the same vision. Modern teaching methods are used intensively.

The library subscribes to around 55 journals/magazines of national and international importance and has a good collection of professional materials / audio-video and educational CDs.

The institute has an advanced infrastructure with two fully equipped computer rooms with 90 PCs and servers with the latest software technology. Wi-Fi facilities on campus are also provided for students.

 It is an organized teaching method in conjunction with the 3-I (Industry-Institute-Interface) concept to develop the participants' interpersonal skills to become effective managers.

Placements in the last year are around 75 plus, and the number of recruiters who visited the campus is nearly 61. Some of the companies are Airtel, NTPC limited, Bata many more.
