Admissions for B.Sc/ B.F.Sc/B.Tech

Rajendra Agricultural University offers a wide range of undergraduate programs in the agricultural discipline. The undergraduate programs are B.Sc, B.Tech, and B.F.Sc. The duration of each course completion is four years, and total intake is totally dependant on the specialization that students who are eligible opt for.

For admissions in the following UG programs, students should meet the minimum eligibility criteria mentioned below.

  • Candidates should have cleared 10th and 12th with minimum marks followed by mandatory subjects as Physics, biology, chemistry, and mathematics. They should have cleared the I.Sc exam with agriculture, chemistry, and physics as subjects.
  • Candidates should have appeared for BCECE, an entrance exam conducted at the state level in Bihar. It is mandatory that students should have obtained good marks in BCECE. To appear for BCECE, candidates need to visit the official website of the entrance exam to apply.

Admissions for M.Sc/ M.Tech/MBA

This university offers various specializations under Post-graduation courses, where M.Tech comprises numerous specialization courses. These PG courses are of 2 years duration, and intake depends on the specialization students opt for.

For admissions in PG courses, candidates have to meet the minimum eligibility criteria mentioned below.

  • Candidates must have Bachelor's degree or any equivalent undergraduate-level degree in the relevant discipline to take up admission.
  • Candidates should have a minimum of 45% marks together in the BCECE exam and the qualifying academic score. Institute will select the candidates based on the merit qualifying degree and marks in the entrance exam.

RAU does not offer an LLB program. However, the university offers courses in B-Tech, M.Sc., MBA, M.F.Sc., B.F.Sc., M-Tech, B.Sc., and Ph.D. in respective specializations.

Applicants looking for B-Tech admissions must have passed the 10+2 board exams, followed by CUET scores. Selections will be based on academic merit and entrance test counselling results.
