Marri Laxman Reddy Institute of Technology (MLRIT), a private engineering college in Hyderabad. It is associated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU). It was established in 2005. UGC conferred the autonomous status for MLRIT Hyderabad. Besides, the College is approved by AICTE and accredited by NAAC with an "A" Grade. It follows an outcome-based education approach. Thus, MLRIT registered with Telangana Academy for Skill and Development (TASK) to enhance students' soft skills. Renowned scientists and business leaders deliver guest lectures on its campus and strongly focus on project-based learning and practical training.

The College's mission is to advance endowed professional engineers to be morally strong and capable with excellence in discovery and learning via practical application. The institute aims to provide a dynamic learning environment supporting candidates' success and accomplishments and disseminates technical programs incorporating leadership qualities, personality development, and communication skills.

MLR Institute of Technology Courses is offered at UG and PG levels in engineering and management disciplines. It offers B Tech in 10 disciplines. The total intake capacity is 1080. M Tech is available in four disciplines with an annual intake of 18 seats per branch. In addition, the College offers two year MBA with an intake of 120 seats. MLRITM fee structure for B Tech is INR 1 Lakh per annum. For two years, the cost is approximately INR 60k. Applicants applying for M Tech must pay the tuition fees of INR 60k per annum.

MLRITM  admission is granted based on the guidelines specified by JNTU and APSCHE, AP Government. Engineering and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) scores determine admission to B.Tech programs. TS PGECET/GATE test results determine admission to M.Tech programs. Admission to the MBA is based on TS ICET Exam scores. Apart from ICET scores, the College also considers CAT, MAT, and SNAP to offer admission.

70% of seats will be filled based on common entrance test merit under Convenor Quota, commonly referred to as Category A Seats. Students who wish to get admission under Category A must satisfy the MLR Institute of Technology Cut off. However, the remaining 30% of seats are allotted to the MLR Institute of Technology Management Quota. The MLRITM placement cell manages all placement-related tasks. The campus's placement drive is run by the placement and training department and offers 100% assistance to its students. Students can pursue their career aspirations through the placement cell, which also assists them in identifying their potential. It examines how market demands have changed and improves students' skills accordingly. Top employers for the College include businesses like Cognizant, Mphasis, Capgemini, etc.

In the recent placement drive, more than 550 students were placed out of over 600 participants. 45 businesses participated in the institution and provided more than 1,200 job offers across various industries. The Marri Laxman Reddy's highest package was INR 30 LPA. In contrast, the average package was offered INR 6.15 LPA.
