Lords Institute of Engineering & Technology, founded in 2002, aspires to impart education through a comprehensively practical approach to produce highly trained and prepared engineers for the workplace. From its modest beginnings with 180 students, Lords has grown to have more than 3000 students enrolled in its numerous programs in engineering and management disciplines. Competition Success Review has ranked the college 2nd among the Top Engineering Colleges in Hyderabad. NAAC has accredited the College with an A Grade. It is the Only Muslim Minority Engineering College to hold NAAC accreditation.

Lords College Hyderabad offers admission to the BE/B Tech, ME/M Tech, and MBA in varied streams. Admission is granted based on entrance test scores, followed by counseling. 70% of seats are reserved for the convenor quota, and the remaining 30% are allotted for the Management quota. It has a strong alumni strength with many students pursuing their Master's Degree abroad. Candidates seeking admission in LIET Hyderabad must ensure the admission criteria for specific courses. Admissions are offered under two categories that are Category A and Category B.

• Category A seats are the convenor quota; candidates must have valid entrance test scores to seek admission under this quota. Additionally, their entrance test rank should be equivalent to the cut-off criteria.
• Category B Seats apply to the Lords Institute of Engineering and Technology Quota. Accordingly, 30% of seats are reserved under this quota. Students who have a low CET ranking can secure admission under this quota.
• Applicants will be eligible for B Tech admission if they have completed their 10+2 requirements with at least 45% (or 40% for candidates in the reserved category) in the main subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English. In addition, TS EAMCET scores are the basis for the selection process.
• Applicants for the MBA program must have graduated with at least a 50% grade point average in any specialty from an accredited university. TS ICET scores are used to select the applicants.
