LBSIM Executive MBA program admission criteria encompass a holistic evaluation process considering various aspects of an applicant's profile. Candidates are assessed based on their academic background, work experience, leadership potential, and overall fit with the Program's objectives.

LBSIM use a  rigorous selection procedure to determine admission to various EMBA equivalent PGDM. Admissions are made based on performance in CAT, XAT, and GMAT, as well as a Written Ability Test (WAT)/Extempore, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview (GD & PI). A panel of knowledgeable faculty members and business leaders chooses the students. As a result, the Institute can choose applicants with varied educational and cultural backgrounds.

 

LBSIM Executive MBA Eligibility Criteria

  • Participants must hold a bachelor's equivalent degree with a minimum of 50% for admission to the EMBA/ LBSIM PGDM Weekend Classes.
  • After finishing higher secondary school under the 10+2 system or an equivalent, the candidate must have completed at least three years of education to earn a bachelor's degree or an equivalent certificate.
  • Applicants must understand that simply meeting the minimal eligibility requirements will not guarantee consideration for shortlisting by LBSIM.
  • Throughout the selection process, candidates must disclose and keep up a unique and functional email address and phone number.
  • Candidates shall have passed common entrance exams such as CAT, XAT, GMAT, CMAT, ATMA or MAT.

 

LBSIM Executive MBA Selection Criteria

Candidates are shortlisted based on the qualified entrance exam score, prior academic status, employment background, and other information submitted in the application form. Only qualified applicants will be contacted for the Written Ability Test or Interview.

Final selection will be based on the exam scores, which will account for 60% of the weighting, and on the written ability test, extempore, group discussion, personal interview, and work experience, which will account for 40%. The selected candidates' results will be released on the Institute's Notice Board and the official website.

 

LBSIM Executive MBA Admission Process

The admission procedure for the Program comprises several stages:

LBSIM Application Submission: Applicants must submit their application with a valid score in CAT, XAT, GMAT, CMAT, ATMA, or MAT. Candidates are mandated to submit the forms within LBSIM's last date to apply.

Selection for Interview: Candidates who meet the initial criteria will be shortlisted. Selected candidates will receive emails and invitations for an online interview.

Interview and Evaluation: The online interview will be crucial for selection. Along with the entrance exam score, performance in the interview and academic achievements will be considered.

Final Selection: The final assortment will be based on the entrance exam score, interview performance, and academic excellence.

Notification of Selection: Selected Candidates will be notified via various means such as Registered Post, Courier, Ordinary Post, Email, or through the Institute's official website.

Non-Selected Candidates: Those who are not selected will not receive any regret letters or communication.

 

Postal Responsibility:

The Institute does not take responsibility for delays or loss of communication in postal transit. The admission process follows a multi-step approach, considering various aspects of an applicant's profile and performance. This ultimately leads to selecting candidates best aligned with the Program's requirements and objectives.

LBSIM Scholarships

Among India's greatest business institutions, it offers financial aid to those who cannot afford the course expenses. It offers scholarships for those accepted into the EMBA/PGDM BA in their first and second years.

  • The scholarship is based on a Merit Cum Means basis, which suggests that a deserving student with financial difficulties who also performs well in college should receive compensation from the scholarship.
  • 5 students in all get the scholarship.
  • The Lalita Shastri Scholarship offers four awards, while the Manuj Chopra Scholarship offers one award.
  • Each student receives a payment of Rs. 50,000.
  • Students are chosen based on several factors. Their financial history and family history are first investigated.
