Kasturba Medical College Fees Structure

At KMC, the MBBS program lasts for four and a half years, including a one-year internship. Admission is based on NEET UG scores. For 15% of seats, counselling is done by DGHS, New Delhi. If you have any leftover seats, go back to the college for counselling. The remaining 85% of seats are filled through counselling by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).

To qualify for NEET, general category candidates need a minimum 50 percentile, and reserved category candidates need a 40 percentile. Candidates applying for KEA counselling must meet Karnataka State's eligibility norms. After DGHS declares vacant seats, the college may hold spot counselling for eligible candidates.

KMC provides scholarships to help students financially. Students who rank within the top 1000 in NEET UG can get a full fee waiver called Free. Those ranking within the top 5000 may qualify for a merit-cum-means scholarship. Scholarships are also available for Post Graduate (PG) students in various programs.
