Belagavi Institute of Medical Sciences

Belagavi Institute of Medical Sciences is an autonomous institution functioning under the Government of Karnataka and was started in the year 2005. BIMS is spread to nearly 25 acres of lush green land. The institute is approved by MCI (Medical Council of India) is affiliated with RGUHS (Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences).

The institute was established with a vision to cater medical education to the aspirants and serve the society in medicines and health care. Institute is well structured with excellent infrastructure and well-equipped laboratories. The faculties in the BIMS are highly educated and well experienced to guide the candidates on the right path.

• BIMS is associated with a BIMS hospital with numerous bed capacity and all required facilities for both in and outpatients.

• BIMS offers undergraduate, Postgraduate, Nursing, Paramedical courses. Under UG level MBBS program is offered with 100 students intake, MD course is offered under PG level with 18 students' information for various streams. B.Sc. Nursing is offered with 60 input and general nursing with 51 intakes—paramedical courses such as X-Ray Tech, Medical Lab Tech. /Record Tec and Health Inspector programs are offered with 20 intakes per course for a year.
• BIMS, MBBS course fee for complete 5 years course is INR 64K and admission to MBBS program is through NEET UG score. MD program fee structure per annum is INR 1.00L and the course period is three years and through NEET PG score, admission is made for PG level courses.
• The institute provides various facilities regarding academics like Wi-Fi, Library with the latest books, LCD monitors, latest software in Computer lab, AC auditorium hall, practical ground, furnished classrooms, etc.
