Yenepoya University Medical College is deemed a university established to provide medical education in the Dakshin Kannada district of Karnataka state and was founded in 1999. Later in 2005, postgraduate courses in seven departments were initiated with the Medical Council of India's permission. YMC is currently offering 20 departments under the postgraduate program.
