Yenepoya University Medical College

Yenepoya University Medical College is deemed a university established to provide medical education in the Dakshin Kannada district of Karnataka state and was founded in 1999. The university is a private institute catering to medical education te aspirants to provide qualified doctors to the world and serve society. A group of 100 MBBS aspirants was accepted in 1999. Later in 2005, postgraduate courses in seven departments were initiated with the Medical Council of India's permission. YMC is currently offering 20 departments under the postgraduate program. The YMC is known for engaging with the public by running ophthalmological camps, dental camps, and free medical camps within the community.

Admission to YMC is based on the entrance exam (NEET UG, NEET PG) and academics' score.
• In YMC, the MBBS 5 ½ years fee structure is INR 72.00L (Per annum fee is INR 16.00L, last year MBBS fee is INR 8.00L), 3 years B.Sc. course fee is INR 1.80L, IN 1.50L is the BHA three years fee, MD course fee is nearly INR 30K, MS fee structure is INR 79.50L for complete three years course and MPH/ MHA fee is INR 1.00L (2years).
• The internship cell or the placement department at the Institute of Yenepoya was established to monitor the student's training and internship activities from day one.
