The candidate should have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination, with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, from a recognized Indian University or Pre-University (Intermediate Board).
For admission into BDS course, candidates are expected to appear for National eligibility cum entrance test (NEET), which is national level entrance test. The eligibility criteria includes, that the candidate should be of min. 17 years of age and should have passed their higher secondary education or an equivalent in science stream with physics, chemistry and biology as their majors having secured a min. of 50% average marks from a recognized institute. Also, the aspirants should appear for the NEET-UG. JNMC cut-off for NEET-UG would be 40th percentile min. for reserved category and at least 50th percentile for UR category to be considered for All India counseling.
