Eligibility Criteria/Cut-off for Admissions 2020

The candidate should have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination, with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, from a recognized Indian University or Pre-University (Intermediate Board).

Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College Admission process is carried off, online via the official website. JNMC application fee is approx. INR 500. The eligibility criteria includes, that the candidate should be of min. 17 years of age and should have passed their higher secondary education or an equivalent in science stream with physics, chemistry and biology as their majors having secured a min. of 50% average marks from a recognized institute. Also, the aspirants should appear for the NEET-UG. JNMC cut-off for NEET-UG would be 40th percentile min. for reserved category and at least 50th percentile for UR category to be considered for All India counseling.

For admission into BDS course, candidates are expected to appear for National eligibility cum entrance test (NEET), which is national level entrance test. Mode of application and examination of NEET exam is online. Application form is mostly released in the month of February and the exam is conducted in 1st week of May. Valid score as per the cut off marks is expected. Apart from this basic eligibility mandatory for admission is that, candidate must have passed 12th with minimum 50% aggregate marks with physics, chemistry, biology and English as the compulsory subject from a board or university which is recognised.

Jawaharlala Nehru Medical College & Hospital offers direct admission to MBBS course only if they have at least appeared for NEET-UG. The fee structure also would depend on the type of admission taken by candidates and for management quota seat the fee will be very high.
