Basavakalyan Engineering College is a private type of institute which is located in Bijapur, Karnataka and established in the year 1999.The institute is approved by AICTE and affiliated to VTU. Institute was started with the aim to impart worth technical education to its aspirants. Institute offers Under Graduate Course in Electronics & Communication, Civil, Mechanical and Computer Science Engineering.

Institute has separate placement committee and training center, continuously interacts with the corporate industries to offer essential and required information about job opportunities to the students. The placement committee arranges several activities to enhance soft skills among the students.

• Placement cell conducts a group discussion and guest lecture through senior professionals who are familiar in industry domain. Students get an opportunity to interact with them and can understand the requirements of industry standards.
