B.E  :

  • Candidate must have passed two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by the Karnataka State Pre- University Board

Or

  • Candidate must have secured an aggregate minimum score of 45% compulsorily in physics and mathematics with the combination of any one of the subjects Chemistry / Biology / Bio-Technology / ECE / Computer Science.
  • An aggregate minimum score of 40% for SC, ST and OBC (Karnataka students only)Should have appeared for KCET/COMEDK

Basavakalyan Engineering College B-Tech admissions are based on academic merit in the qualifying exam, followed by KCET cut-off scores. The KCET cut-off rank for Mechanical Engineering is 172594. If the candidates haven’t met the minimum cut-off scores, they can apply for direct admissions.
