KEAM 2022 Counselling

Phase 1 registrations for the KEAM 2022 option have begun at CEE. The options must be registered by September 19 to remain valid.

Engineering and Architecture are already accepting registrations for the first phase of KEAM 2022 Counselling. The deadline to register for options is September 19. On September 18, the trial allocation will be carried out. Finally, on September 21, the KEAM 2022 first phase seat allocation will be made public.

Through KEAM 2022 counseling, candidates can apply for admission to the KEAM 2022 participating colleges. Through KEAM counseling 2022, seats for qualified students will be distributed based on the KEAM rank list, submitted marks, and available seats at a particular college. The Centralized Allotment Process (CAP), based on candidates' admission test scores, is used to distribute seats for KEAM 2022. Candidates who obtain an allocation letter should pay the application fee and any remaining fees (if any) due to CEE at any of the Kerala Head Post Offices or online. Following the KEAM 2022 counseling sessions, an online mop-up round is held to fill open seats.

The candidates' online options are considered for allocating seats for KEAM 2022. Under no circumstances are candidates will be allotted who do not register for KEAM 2022 counseling their selections within the allotted period taken into consideration for allocation. Shortlisted candidates from the KEAM rank list are eligible to participate in the trial seat allocation stage.

KEAM 2022 Counselling Process

• Online or at the Facilitation Centres, candidates can register for KEAM Counselling 2022.
• Following KEAM 2022 Counselling, seats will be assigned to candidates following their choices and eligibility.
• Following KEAM 2022 counseling registration, choose your courses and college, choose your filter options, get a trial allocation, get a final allocation, accept your seat, pay your seat acceptance fee, and report to your assigned college.
• The Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) will be used for KEAM Counselling in 2022 and will be based on the admission exam rankings of the candidates. Qualified applicants must register separately for the KEAM counseling process.

How to register and fill KEAM 2022 counseling application form

Step 1: Online registration

Candidates must first register for the exam online at the official website.

• Check out the KEAM official website: https://cee.kerala.gov.in
• Open the "KEAM Candidate Login Portal" page.
• Use your application number and password to log in.
• A screen will appear with Option Registration.
• Enter the password and key number (16-digit alphanumeric code).

Step 2: Upload documents

Several documents must be uploaded by the candidate to register for KEAM Counselling. The section below contains a list of each crucial document that candidates must submit to register for counseling. In addition, it will be necessary to provide your 10+2 transcript, certificate (provisional if the certificate hasn't been given yet), ID documentation, etc.

Step 3: Choice filling/ Selection during registration

Candidates must select from a list of colleges and courses according to their performance on the KEAM exam while keeping in mind the KEAM cut-off scores in this step of the registration procedure. The candidate must save and lock his selections according to his preference.

Step 4: Trial seat allotment

To familiarise the applicants with the procedure, CEE would start a trial seat allotment result before the initial seat allocation. The seats allocated through this method should not be seen as being fixed and may alter in the final allotment list.

Step 5: Final KEAM allotment list

A candidate would then be assigned a specific course and college based on his preference, the institute's cut-off, rank, and category in a final list of allotment results published on the institute's website. The candidate will automatically be considered for the following round of allotment if he cannot secure a spot on this list.

Step 6: Payment for allotted seat

A candidate must pay a specified amount as a confirmation fee to accept the seat assigned to them for admission. Any candidate failing to pay the seat confirmation fee forfeits their right to the seat.

Step 7: Report at the allotted college and document verification

The candidate would then physically report to the institute for which he has paid the confirmation costs and have his documents validated as the last stage. It is essential to keep in mind that the candidate must be able to show his original paperwork (the certificate and the marks sheet) at this stage, or else they will be denied admittance.

KEAM Depending on the number of seats available for the academic year, the seat distribution would take place in two or three rounds. Then, if necessary, a special vacant seat "spot" allocation round would be used to complete the allocation procedure.

Documents required for KEAM 2022 counseling

The following papers must be submitted as part of KEAM counseling 2022:

• A birth certificate or a grade transcript from the 10th grade serves as proof of birth date.
• Character and Conduct Report (during the verification process)
• Original qualifying exam score sheet (during the verification process)
• Original qualification exam pass certificate or degree (during the verification process)
• Immigration permits (if required)
• Physical condition following the format necessary and approved by the appropriate authorities.
• As stated in the CEE communication, KEAM 2022 admit card allocation (during the verification process)
• Evidence of having paid the seat-confirmation fees (during the verification process)

How to register for option in KEAM 2022 counseling

• Candidates have the option of registering for every option that is offered. It is not necessary to use every option, though.
• If applicants did not select the desired course and college during the CAP 2022 option registration process, they would not be given a seat in that institution's course.
• Suppose a candidate is given an assignment based on alternatives submitted against future vacancies. In that case, they are required to accept the assignment following the priority listed in the Options list and to give up the seat they currently occupy. After an allotment is made, a request to keep the current admission based on the registered option will never be considered.
• The student's allotment to that course will be forfeited, and all options in the stream to which that allotment belongs will no longer be available if they fail to appear for admission at the designated institution after paying the requisite money by the deadline.
• Even if no canceling or rearranging of options is intended, confirmation of the higher order options by signing in to the Option Registration Page and clicking the "confirm" button is required to take part in each step of CAP 2022 after the initial phase.
• Higher-order choices associated with the course(s) featured in that CAP phase will be automatically deleted upon non-confirmation, making them inaccessible for the succeeding stages.
• Before each step of allocation, online option confirmation is required to participate in that allocation round.
• Before each step of allotment, the website will make the option for online option confirmation available.
• The candidate's higher order options for the course(s) included in that phase will not be available in later phases if they are not confirmed by clicking the "Confirm" button on their option registration page.
