Registration for AEEE 2026 Begins

AEEE- Amrita Engineering Entrance Exam 2026 is an institute-level entrance exam conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. Amrita Engineering Institute has now started its application for AEEE 2026 to provide admission for the B-Tech program.  AEEE 2026 is held in two phases in January and April.

The AEEE 2026 exam date for phase 1 starts from January 29 to February 1.  Phase 2 will be held from April 25 to 30. The last date for AEEE 2026 registrations is January 15, 2026. Candidates can check the Amrita official website at aeee.amrita.edu.  

Interested candidates can register for one or both phases of AEEE 2026, and the highest score of one will be considered for admission.

AEEE 2026 Eligibility criteria:

Applicants must have passed in 12th board exams with min of 60% marks with mandatory subjects like Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry. There is no upper age limit to apply for the entrance exam.

AEEE 2026 Application Process:

  • Eligible candidates must fill in the form by registering their email ID and phone number using the official website of Amrita Institute. This helps the candidates to get further notifications of the exams.
  • Then fill in the AEEE 2026 application form with basic details like name, dob, address, contact details, educational details etc.
  • At the end, candidates must also attach the latest photograph and digital signature as well in the prescribed format.
  • It is important for the candidates to choose 3 locations to attend AEEE as per their preference.
  • In case if the candidates want to opt for JEE Main scores for Amrita Engineering Institute, candidates can mark that in the form.
  • Around 70% of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham B-Tech. seats are based on AEEE scores. However, the remaining 30% seats are open for candidates with JEE Main scores.
  • After the form is filled out, candidates must wrap up the process by paying the AEEE 2026 form fees. The AEEE 2026 application fee is INR 1300/- for the general category. Earlier it was 1200 and now it is increased by INR 100.
  • The registrations will be closed on January 15, 2026.

Once the application is submitted, candidates can book their slots from January 10, 2026, to choose their preferred exam slot for AEEE 2026.  

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has revised its AEEE 2026 exam pattern. Previously, there were 4 sections with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English paper with a total of 90 questions. Now they have added a new section of Aptitude. It has 10 MCQs questions for 30 marks.

As per the marking scheme, 3 marks is allotted for each question, and for every wrong answer, 1 mark is deducted. Here is the tabulated form of AEEE 2026 sections:
