JEE Main 2021 Feb Session

The first session of JEE Main 2021 started from Feb 23-26, 2021. This year NTA has decided to conduct the exam in four sessions starting from February till May 2021. As the Feb session of JEE Main is about to end and If that hasn't gone well for the participated candidates, they are advised to apply for the next session as there are three more sessions to be conducted. NTA is the conducting body of JEE Main for getting admissions for UG engineering courses. These scores are widely accepted in many participating colleges. NTA will be holding the subsequent exam sessions in March, April, and, finally, in May 2021. After each session, results will be given out, and then the opening for the next rounds will be announced. The final result of JEE Main will be revealed only after evaluating the candidates' number of sessions. Only the best scores will be taken into consideration.  

JEE Main 2021 is a national-level entrance examination conducted online mode, and it has two papers to attend. Paper 1 for B-tech aspiring candidates, and paper 2 is for B. Arch and B. Planning. The question pattern will differ for both the documents, and this exam is held in 13 different languages, which help candidates from other regions all over the country. There are more than 1600+ colleges that are participating in this exam. The JEE Main exam will be happening in two shifts starting from 9 am to 12 am, and the second shift is from 3 pm to 6 pm.

How to apply for the upcoming Sessions of JEE Main 2021

The aspiring engineering candidates can apply for more than one session while filling the application form and paying the full fee amount at once. Or otherwise, candidates can also withdraw themselves from the session, and the respective fee amount will be refunded to the candidate's account. The students can even apply for the further sessions separately if they feel their performance in the previous session was not good enough. 

According to the statement given NTA bulletin: If at all the candidate wants to apply only for one session, they will have to pay the exam fee for that particular session for the current application time limit and will have the chance to apply for the exam only for the months that are remaining and happening in March, April and May sessions.

The application window for JEE Main 2021 will open once the result are announced for each session, and only then following session dates and registration forms will be live. The final session will be in May 2021, and the NTA authorities will accept applications only till then. 

JEE Main 2021 paper for BArch, B-Planning                        

Paper 1 is for B-Tech aspirants, and the second paper is for B-Arch and B-planning, and the exam pattern is different from paper 1. There are four sessions of JEE Main 2021 for B-tech students, but for B-Arch and B-Planning, there are only two sessions, i.e., February and May 2021. The complete pattern, number of questions, syllabus, and aspects are different from for B-Tech aspirants JEE Main paper.  

The quantity of students applying for B-Tech courses and JEE Main is more than students applying for B-Arch and B-Planning. As per the records, out of the 6 lakh + candidates who have applied for the exam, around only 60 k+ students are willing to take up the B-Arch and B-Planning exam.    

JEE Main 2021: May session might clash with board exams             

Some of the candidates who are willing to take up the May session exam might end up clashing their dates with upcoming board exams. The May session is scheduled for 24-28, and this is supposed to combat with their 12th Board exams from the CBSE syllabus or other state board. The candidates will have to keep track of the application window, which is done by submitting their board exam registration numbers. The May session opening will be from May 4 to May 12, 2021.
