The UPTAC Registration 2026 Process has been started from May 25. Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University has released the counselling schedule. With this exam, you can take admission to BTech and other professional courses. Admission is available to the top colleges in Uttar Pradesh.
You can complete the UPTAC Counselling 2026 registration process on the official counselling portal. The counselling process is done for admissions to engineering and other professional courses in Uttar Pradesh. These courses are affiliated with AKTU. This year the counselling process will include four main rounds.
AKTU has announced that students have to generate an APAAR ID for UPTAC 2026 before sitting for the counselling process. You are advised to create the APAAR ID in advance to avoid any problems. The APAAR ID is expected to maintain academic records digitally. This will simplify your admission process.
The release of the counselling schedule gives students clarity for admission in Uttar Pradesh, so the UPTAC engineering admission 2026. You can get admission to various government and private engineering colleges in Uttar Pradesh.
With multiple counselling rounds, and special rounds, you have more opportunities to get a seat. The UPTAC counselling schedule 2026 is an important update. You are advised to complete registration on time.
The UPTAC BTech admission 2026 process is conducted online. This will be done in multiple stages. You will have to complete registration, fee payment, uploading of documents, filling of choice, seat allotment, and reporting to the official schedule. The counselling process was mainly focused on students who were preparing for JEE Main. You will be allotted a seat on the basis of your merit, category and choices.
According to the official schedule, registration, documents, and fee payment for round 1 will be done from May 25 to June 15.
Document verification and your query response will continue till June 20. You will be able to lock your choices between June 22 and June 25.
The UPTAC seat allotment 2026 for round 1 will be announced on June 27. This will be for the JEE Main student, you have to select freeze or float options. You have to pay the confirmation fee between June 27 and June 29.
Round two, you have to modify and lock your choices from June 30 to July 1. Seat allotment for this round will be released on July 3. If you’re not satisfied with your allotment, then you can choose. You can also choose the freeze or float option. This is available till July 5.
The round three seat allotment will be declared on July 9. If you receive a seat in this round, then you have to complete the payment. Only after the payment will it confirm your admission. You need to pay the fee by July 10. The university has also allowed students to make final changes. You can do so before round 3. You can do so through online choice booking.
The fourth round of the AKTU counselling 2026 will be held on July 11. The university mentions that the seats allotted in this will be frozen for all students. If you receive new allotments, you must pay the seat confirmation fee. The fee payment window is between July 11 and July 13. You need to physically report to the allotted campus. This process will take place from July 14 to July 16.
After the 4th round, the counselling process will move to the Internal Sliding Round. This round will allow you to upgrade your branches. The internal sliding allotment results will be released on July 18.
AKTU has also announced two special rounds under the UPTAC admission 2026. This process is to fill vacancies. It will continue till June 15. Fee payment, document verification and allocation for this round will be done between July 18 and July 23.
Allotment for special round 1 will be on July 25. You need to visit campus between July 27 and July 28.
For special round 2, registration and payment of the fee will be done between July 27 and July 28. You need to complete the document verification process by July 30. Final seat allotment for the special round to be declared on July 30. If you are selected in this round, then you need to complete physical reporting by August 3.
