Tatyasaheb Kore Institute of Engineering and Technology, which is shortly known as (TKIET) situated in Kolhapur bought up in 1983 from Shree Warana Vibhag Shikshan Mandal. This institute's primary goal is to progress engineering professionals of high repute with sound work and life ethics, use material technology in conference contests of extraordinary quality education talent, and struggle hard for good academic results and placement.

The college has also banged several Awards like 1^st Prize by ISTE National Award for Best M. Tech, and for 'Design & Development of Solar Assisted Bicycle, ISTE National award 1^st prize for the B.E. project called Onion & Garlic Harvesting Machine and 3^rd prize in paper presentation competition which was held at National Conference.
