DKTE Society’s Textile and Engineering Institute was begun in 1982 as a private autonomous Institute in Kolhapur. The Institute has its affiliation to Shivaji University and SUK, Kolhapur, and AICTE, New Delhi approval. DKTE is currently providing programs in Engineering and Management streams such as Diploma Engineering, B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, and Ph.D. with specializations.

• Ten h or 10+2 from any recognized board is mandatory education level for the Diploma Engineering program.
• 50% marks in 10+2 is the basic level of education required for the B.Tech program.
• The admission procedure of the B.Tech program will be done based on marks scored in MHT CET or JEE Mains.
• Diploma Engineering and B.Sc. Students are also eligible for lateral admission to B.Tech.
• Bachelor’s Degree is the basic eligibility for an MBA program.
• Students who have a valid score in MAH MBA CET or MAH MMS CET or CMAT or CAT or XAT or CMAT or ATMA are eligible for MBA admissions.
• B.Tech in the applicable stream is mandatory education for the M.Tech program.
• A valid score in the GATE exam is required for M.Tech admissions.
• Merit in M.Tech followed by Institute Interview process is for Ph.D. Admissions.

DKTE Diploma Engineering Admissions:

The Institute is offering Diploma programs with three specializations for three years. The students must have passed in 10th or 10+2 or equivalent education level from any recognized body required to apply to the program. The students for Diploma Engineering will be selected based on the DTE Counseling or CAP round.

DKTE B.Tech Admissions:

The students must have a basic education level of 10+2 in the Science stream with PCM as the mandatory subject with 50% marks from any recognized board for applying to the B.Tech program. The students will be selected for the admission process depending on the marks obtained in MHT CET or JEE Main exams, followed by counseling conducted by eth respective exam boards. The Institute has 570 seats for the B.Tech program, which will be filled through CAP by DTE, Maharashtra.

The students who hold a Diploma Engineering or B.Sc. The degree can also apply for the B.Tech program from the 2nd year.

DKTE M.Tech Admissions:

The Students who have basic eligibility of Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology with 50% marks in the related stream can apply for the M.Tech program. The program is offered with six specializations for two years. The students will be shortlisted for admission based on the GATE score followed by CAP conducted by DTE.

DKTE MBA Admissions:

To get admission into the MBA program in the institute, the student must hold a bachelor’s degree in any stream with at least 50% marks from a recognized university along with a valid score in MAH MBA CET or MAH MMS CET or CMAT or CAT or XAT or CMAT or ATMA. The students will be selected based on the DTE, Maharashtra CAP round.

DKTE Ph.D. Admissions:

The Institute also offers a Doctoral program in engineering which is Maharashtra Govt. Recognized. The Ph.D. Engineering is provided three specializations for the students having M.Tech as their basic education level with 45% marks. The final shortlisting of the students for admission will be based on the performance in the Institute’s Interview round.

DKTE Application Process:

DKTE application process is held offline for all programs. The students are required to register themselves with the DTE Maharashtra Website for a counseling round conducted online. The students have to fill the priorities list after the merit list is announced. The Application form, after filling, has to be submitted to the institute with the below-mentioned documents.

Students applying for the Ph.D. program should get the DKTE application form from the Institute and fill it. The application form has to be submitted along with the application fee.
