BVCE B Tech Admission

BVCE B Tech Eligibility Requirements

  • Candidates must have completed the Maharashtra State Board Secondary and Higher Secondary Education HSC with Physics and Mathematics as obligatory subjects and Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or Technical Vocational.
  • They must also have received 50 per cent (45 per cent for SC/ST/PH candidates) in their 12th grade.
  • While students who have finished a Diploma in engineering streams or B Sc with Mathematics can seek admission to the B Tech Lateral Program at BVCE

BVCE B Tech Selection Procedure

  • BVCE accepts the valid score of either MHT CET or JEE Main entrance test with a good score.
  • Candidates who have qualified in any entrance tests can apply for CAP online through DTE, Maharashtra official website.
  • The Centralized Admission Procedure includes certain steps, namely Registration, Document verification, Option filling and seat allotment. There will be three rounds in CAP. Students are required to participate in CAP based on their merit rank.
  • To secure an admission seat at BVCE through CAP, candidates have to choose their preference as "BVCE" in the option filling round.
  • Moreover, to acquire an admission seat through CAP, candidates must satisfy the BVCE B Tech cut off norms. For eligible students, a seat will be allotted based on their rank.
  • Students satisfied with the seat allotment have to report at the admission centre to confirm the seat.

BVCE M.Tech Eligibility/Selection Criteria

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology from a recognized university is the minimum requirement for the BVCE's M.Tech program.
  • Candidates with at least two years of experience will be given priority.
  • M Tech Admission at BVCE is granted to students who have received a GATE score.
  • Candidates' exam scores will be used to create a merit list.
  • All people whose names appear on the merit list must attend the counselling (CAP), conducted in three rounds by DTE, Maharashtra.

BVCE Application Process

  • As a primary step, students must go to their official website and fill out the JEE Main/MHT CET or GATE application form to undertake the entrance exam as per course requirements.
  • Following the announcement of the results, candidates must complete an online application form for the Centralized Admission Process (CAP).
  • After completing the form, students must visit Setu Suvidha Kendra to validate their application (SSK).
  • Finally, for those who have confirmed their applications, a merit list will be displayed. Students whose names are enlisted in the merit list have to participate in CAP.
  • Then there are the CAP rounds, which students must engage in.
