Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh, is home to Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering and Technology (SVCET). The institution was founded in 1998 and is allied with  Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in Anantapur (JNTUA). The organization that manages this college, Sri Venkateswara College of Educational and Cultural Trust, is dedicated to providing a top-notch education for young aspirants. NAAC accredits SVCET Chittor with a grade of A. Besides, NBA accredited this college under the Tier-1 category for three years, up to 2025. UGC has been granted an autonomy status since 2011. SVCET campus is located on a highway in an area of 65 acres at RVS Nagar. 7km away from Chittor and 60km away from Tirupati.

In the past 20 years, SVCET has attained remarkable growth. Student's admission intake has been progressing year on year. In the beginning, the sanctioned intake was 180, which has now been increased to 1926. Sri Venkateswara College Chittor is a hub for students from 43 countries and 18 states of India. Due to the intake progress, the infrastructure of the SVCET is constantly under expansion to keep pace with growing trends. Currently, 4000+ students are pursuing their studies in B Tech, M Tech, MBA, and MCA at UG and PG levels. NBA accredits Engineering Courses in Sri Venkateshwara College. A faculty and student ratio is duly maintained to impart the learning process effectively.

SVCET Chittor fees for B Tech are approximately INR 48k per annum. Studying MBA will cost around INR 32k per annum. The fees for the M Tech program are around INR 65k. The tuition fee for MCA is around INR 31k per year. Admission to the B Tech is based on EAPCET/EAMCET scores. Students applying for MBA have to clear the ICET. For admission to M Tech, a valid score of PGECET is considered. At last, admission to the MCA is also based on ICET scores.

Hostel fees are not included in the tuition/admission fee structure. Those who opt for a hostel facility have to pay it separately every year. SVCET Chittor hostel accommodation is available for boys and girls. Both the hostel are located just 0.5 km away from campus premises. It also offers transport services to the hostlers.

The students are admitted to SVCET under two categories. One is category A, called convenor, where admission is strictly based on a student's entrance test rank, followed by counseling. However, the final selection criteria is solely based on SVCET Chittor Cut off. Thus, the applicant's entrance test rank should be in the Opening & Closing rank. SVCET Chittoor College Code is SVCT. If a student's rank is not up to the cutoff requirements, they can still get admission under category B. However, 30% of seats are reserved for Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering Management Quota.

SVCET encourages students to take on relevant and straightforward projects of any sort and dimension as early as their first year. It also imparts knowledge of protocols and processes, a scientific temperament, and a creative bent of mind. Additionally, the college offers all students the chance to use additional classes and lab resources for self-improvement through honing their communication and soft skills.

The SVCET Chittoor placement rate is 96.20%. About 140 companies visited the campus this year, including Google, Amazon, HCL, Accenture, Dell R&D, Morgan Stanley, Deloitte, etc. The highest CTC offered was Rs 25 LPA.

The training and placement division at Sri Venkateswara College conducts on-campus interviews by inviting top companies. Each student receives SVCE along with specialized instruction in group discussions and interviews. The placement cell frequently schedules career counseling, seminars, and coaching programs to prepare the students for the corporate sector.

SVCET Chittoor Cut-off

Candidates must take the AP EAMCET entrance test to be considered for admission to the B.Tech programs, after which the cutoff is made public. Candidates who reach the SVCE Tirupati cutoff will be qualified for admission to the B.Tech program in the interim.
