Sri Kalahasteeswara Institute of Technology, prominently known as SKIT, was set up in the year 1997 under the administration of Sri Kalahasteeswara swami Vari Devasthanam, Srikalahasti with the activity of Sri B. • In 2013, the JNTUA, Ananthapuramu, perceived the SKIT Institution as Research Center to seek after Ph.D. Projects in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
