Madanapalle Institute of Technology and Science is a UGC-recognized autonomous institution established in Madanapalle, Andhra Pradesh, in the year 1998. MITS offers B Tech in 9 disciplines such as Civil, CSE, CSE Artificial Intelligence, CSE Cyber Security, CSE Data Science, Computer Science & Technology, ECE, EEE, and Mechanical. MITS offers admission to the M Tech, MCA, and MBA at the PG level. All the engineering courses, MBA and MCA, are accredited by NBA. Madanapalle Institute of Technology & Science course admissions is based on entrance exams and merit scores. The MITS eligibility criteria for various B.Tech branches require candidates to pass 10+2 with a minimum of 45%. Students must obtain a qualifying score in the AP-EAPCET (formerly AP EAMCET).

Admission is offered under two categories: Category A is Convenor Quota, and Category B applies to the Management Quota. Students who wish to apply for admission under the convenor quota must possess a valid rank in AP EAPCET that should be effective according to the Madanapalle Institute of Technology & Science Cutoff. The fee structure for B Tech under the convenor quota is INR 69k per academic year. Madanapalle Institute of Technology Management Quota seats will be filled with meritorious candidates who possess first class in optional subjects at the 12^th level (Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry). MITS Madanapalle Management Quota fees are INR 1.9 Lakhs. In second year B Tech, 10% of seats are reserved for the Diploma holders. Students are required to pass in AP ECET Examination to be eligible for B Tech Lateral Entry.  

Students applying for M.Tech degrees in any branch must clear AP-PGECET/GATE entrance test. Students should have passed their B.Tech graduation degree with at least 50% marks. The selection process for MBA and MCA programs requires candidates to get a valid score in APICET. Students must complete graduation with at least 50%.
