Maha Barathi Engineering College (MBEC) is functioning under the aegis of Maha Barathi Education Trust and the college was started in the academic year 2007. MBEC’s mission is to provide an inspiring atmosphere for enriching the problem solving, intellectual property and knowledge of the students and make them successful citizens of the nation.

MBEC Villupuram is situated in 16 acres of serene land in Salem of Tamil Nadu, India. The College is having affiliation to Anna University, Chennai and is approved by AICTE, New Delhi. Courses offered by the college are BE and ME with various specializations.
