A.R. College of Engineering and Technology is a self-funded engineering school recognized by AICTE and affiliated with Anna University. It is a private institute and an ISO 9001: 2008 certified institute. A. R. College of Engineering and Technology was founded in 2009 by A.R. Educational, and benevolent trust. A. R. College of Engineering and Technology's mission is to strive to achieve the quality of education and never give up. Our effort is to provide high-level educational and technological support to students in need in these rural populations in the border areas of Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

• ARCET began in the academic year 2009 with four sub-subjects of UG Engineering: Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, and Electronics and Communication Technology. A.R College of Engineering and Technology welcomes students from worldwide.
• The government admits A.R. College of Engineering and Technology. /NRI ratio/ Management quota. The administration admits students based on their upper secondary grades (10+2) in physics, mathematics and chemistry subjects mainly.

A.R. College of Engineering and Technology  Placements begin functionally in the first year of the course with training sessions on group discussions, communication skills, personality development, technical presentations, etc., and regular classroom curricular activities. The ARCET library is imaginative and generously distributed over an area of ?? 7000 m² with an extensive collection of 12,000 plus volumes. It is constantly expanding and enriching itself with more electronic journals and books. ARCET offers excellent facilities for its aspirants staying in institute shelters.
