Madurai Kamaraj University, The University came into being through a bill passed in the Legislative Assembly of the State in the year 1965. College has  Started Their Distance Education in To The Existence,Thus, it is a statutory university owned and funded by the Government of Tamilnadu and the University Grants Commission.University is a member of Association of Indian Universities and one of the nine universities in India with a status of University with Potential for Excellence. 

College  on its relentless journey for the past 48 years surmounting hurdles of indigenous and exotic nature on its way and has passed through the tests of accreditation towards reaching the status of excellence. University is aware that the process of achieving excellence is continuous and therefore, all efforts are in progress to keep up the momentum.

These courses are of 1 year to 2 years depending on the stream that has been chosen with no age limit. The student should meet the eligibility criteria as per the course that they are choosing.

• The course fee may vary up to INR 20,000 per year depending on the stream that is chosen
• The Eligibility criteria is the candidate must have graduated in any stream relevant to the course from a recognised board with minimum of 50% marks.

BA

To join BA the candidate must be completed 18 years of age with eligibility criteria of passing the entrance test.

• The total course fee is up to INR 30,000 hence per year fee will be INR 10,000
• This course is 3 years course. Applications can be filled online or offline.

Eligibility criteria for MBA

• Candidates applying for this course should hold a bachelor’s degree in any domain with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognized university
• SC/ST candidates applying for this course should hold a bachelor’s degree in any domain with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks from a recognized university
• Selection is based on the marks secured by the candidates in the entrance examination conducted by the university
• Once qualified the entrance examination candidates should undergo a counseling process followed by a personal interview and a group discussion round.
