KNIT offers Under Graduate Course B Tech in Information Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics & Communication, and Computer science engineering. Minimum Eligibility criteria for applying for the B Tech program are candidates must have passed in 10+2 Exam with a required aggregate score.

K.N.S Institute of Technology Admission Process

The KNSIT Admissions for the B Tech course will be granted based on the entrance exam score and based on Merit in the last qualifying examination. Candidates seeking to get admission for a B Tech course at KNSIT must be eligible with a 45% aggregate score in the 10+2 Science stream (Physics, Chemistry, Math’s Must be compulsory subjects) from the recognized board. Candidates who belong to SC/ST/OBC Category will be having 5% relaxation in aggregate marks.

Selection of the candidates for the admission process at KNSIT will be made through KCET Entrance Exam, organized by KEA (Karnataka Examination Authority). After the KCET result announcement, candidates should appear for counseling based on the cut-off score seats will be allocated. Non-Karnataka Candidates must appear for COMEDK Entrance Exam to get admission for B Tech in KNSIT. Students eligible for the National Level Entrance Exam JEE Main with valid scores can also apply for the B Tech course. The KNSIT will conduct a further admission process Interview round.
