Placements

  • college The placement cage has taken pa art successful journey of the green revolution in India that began from IARI fields. The students of the college will have the opportunity to become research scholars, for example, R&D in any private or government companies
  • They have a separate cell with the full time in charge of the placement of the students, and they always guide the students to approach the companies
  • The students get trained on communication, interpersonal and soft skills development via many sessions conducted by the college
  • They also have a separate counseling cell for the student to give the career guidance to them and for the personality development of the student

Scholarships

  • The institute provides junior and senior scholarships to the students. The students considered are M.Sc. and Ph.D. students, and the duration for the junior scholarships is two years and the senior scholarship Ph.D.  Students 

Courses and the Course Fee

  • The M.Sc. course is 2 years full-time course, and the fee for the system will be INR 17,350/- in total 2 years approximately
  • The M.Tech course has the duration of 2 years, and it is a full-time course, and the fee structure for the course is INR 17,350/- approximately in total
  • The Ph.D. course is of 3 years of course duration, and the fee structure for that will be INR 25,900/- in total about for 3 years

Admission Process

  • For the courses like M.Sc. and M.Tech, there will be a written entrance, test, and evaluation, score briefing, and merit list circulation.
  • The admission notification is given in newspapers and websites, and then they have to fill the application online mode with the submission of the required documents
  • The Ph.D. admission is also having the 3 stages written test, evaluation of the test, and the interview for joining the Ph.D. course. One has to be completed with a master’s degree

Infrastructure and Student Life

  • The campus of the college has separate staff quarters, guest house facility. The college encourages sports, so they have sports activity conducted regularly.
  • The college consists of the auditorium, faculty clubs, well-equipped labs, well-stocked library, SEM facility, Pesticide Referral Labs, and it is very well structured buildings
  • The hostel facility is very well furnished and are spacious rooms including TVs, a recreational facility, a hairdressing salon, and many more facilities. The hostels are there for both boys and girls separately.

Indian Agricultural Research Institute M-Tech admissions are based on the GATE entrance exam.

In the first year M.Tech fee of Indian Agricultural Research Institute candidates has to pay is INR 27.2k and for 2nd year it is INR 15.9k so then the total fee would be INR 43.1k

The Admission Procedure for the course of MSC in Indian Agricultural Research Institute is:

The Eligibility Criteria is:
For the General Eligibility for AIEEA - PG

  • The aspirants must be an Indian National and should at least be 19 years old.
  • And the aspirants must hold a Bachelor's Degree 

And the Admission Guidelines is:

  • The aspirants are selected on basis of performance in AIEEA-PG. and the AIEEA-PG is a national level entrance exam conducted by ICAR for admission to PG programs in Agriculture and Allied Sciences. 
  • And the exam are generally conducted for 20 major subject groups
