Indraprastha College for Women

Established in 1924, Indraprastha College for Women is one of the oldest women's colleges and a constituent college of the University of Delhi. The institute has been accredited with an "A" grade by NAAC and has an active Internal Quality Assurance Cell. Located in the landmark of Delhi, ICW offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses under three different streams of Humanities, Commerce, and Mathematical Science. The institute has an enrollment of approximately 3500 students for a wide range of courses.

• The courses IP College offers are B. A, B.A.(H), B. Com(H), B.Sc.(H), M.A., and M.Sc. under various streams. The admission for UG and PG courses at IP College is based on the students' merit and entrance test.
• In addition, candidates have to score well in 10+2 as per IP College's cut-off requirement. This helps the students to secure admission seats to the desired UG course.

ICW serves a huge infrastructure spread in the area of approximately 21 acres and provides various facilities to the students like a well-stocked Library, multimedia labs, computer lab, editing bays, studio and production center, audio-visual resource center, conference room, a hub for Community Radio with world-wide broadcast facilities, air conditioning auditorium, laboratories

The institute also provides various facilities for indoor and outdoor sports activities like a swimming pool, judo floor, basketball court, squash court, tennis court, gym, handball, and other such facilities to promote the sports activities. The college campus also has a branch of the Canara Bank.

IP College Hostel facility: The college Offers hostel facilities that can accommodate around 450 students. The institute got 2 hostels, the Indraprastha College girls’ hostel, which houses 170 girls, and the Kalavati Gupta hostel, which accommodates 280 girls. The hostel offers the option of both AC and Non-Ac rooms.

Placements in Indraprastha College for Women's

IP College has a dedicated placement and counselling cell which trains the students of last year to prepare them for interviews, aptitude, and group discussion rounds. Furthermore, the placement cell helps the candidates by making them aware of all the difficulties and problems they might face during the actual interview round and help them overcome them by proper training and exposure.

• The placement cell trains the student to enhance their technical skills, communication skills, and interaction skills.
• The placement cell acts as the bridge between the student and recruiters and provides various resources to the candidates to perform their best.
• The placement percentage of ICW is quite good, with around 70% to 80%. The highest package offered in ICW is 6.4 lac per annum.
