Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana

The Nankana Sahib Education Trust founded Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College in 1956. It is one of the oldest institutions in North India, located at Gilli Park, Ludhiana, Punjab. Earlier, GNDEC was affiliated with Panjab University. At present, it is administrated under Punjab Technical University Jalandhar. GNE Ludhiana is the first engineering college in Punjab, which was conferred autonomous status by UGC in 2012. It is also one of the few technical colleges of Punjab selected for World Bank financial assistance under TEQIP.
