Gandhi Institute of Technology & Management, Bhubaneswar

Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM) was started in 2008, situated at Bhubaneshwar, Odisha. The institute is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and is affiliated with Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Rourkela. The Vidya Bikash Educational Trust sponsors the institute to provide technical education to the state's people.

• The institute covers 16 acres of land, having basic facilities like hostel, computer labs, auditorium, medical, sports, cafeteria, gym, laboratory, and library.
• The students are placed in reputed companies like Tech Mahindra, Retailon, Logic Pvt. Ltd., Infosys, Wipro Technologies, Tata Consultancy Services, etc., and the average salary package offered to the students is INR 4 LPA.
• The institute has 2 hostels with accommodation for more than 200 students per year with a feasible INR 48-50k per year.
• The institute offers engineering courses like B.Tech and Diploma, and the students, to get admissions, have to clear the national level JEE Main exam conducted every year.

The library has more than 12500 books in each department and about 30 national and international journals to develop research activities.
