Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University, shortly known as SOA University, situated in Bhubaneswar, was bought up in 1996. A few of the events are the National Seminar on  Advanced & Innovative Technology for Transforming Healthcare (AITTH-2016) conducted by the International Conference on Smart Materials & Application and the National Discussion on the Role of Microalgae in Wastewater Treatment. And also leads MULTIDISCIPLINARY RESEARCH CELL to promote research and consultancy and has undertaken several activities.

Courses Fees and Hostel:

Facilities are good and are worth paying for; they provide every facility required for students to feel comfy and not feel homesick. The wardens are so concerned, and they take care of students very well. Students should bring any complaints or concerns to wardens and, in the worst case, be taken to the supervisor.

The hostel is equipped with modern facilities and amenities; students must use it to the best of their abilities to be satisfied. Rooms are furnished with and without attached bathrooms based on that, and the hostel fee has to be paid.

The food provided in a mess is pretty good, and it can be eaten every day well cooked, with less oil usage, and healthy.

Placements:

The placement department takes care of placement drives; they are active and focused enough to fulfill students’ dreams of getting placed in their dream company. Training sessions are held for students to develop their technical skills, interpersonal skills, and all-around skills, essential for them to clear the interviews.

Before the drives, students are informed about the company. There will also be pre-placement talks, filtering students, and then the interview process takes place. The internship programs are conducted to get an idea of the company or organization's work.
