Chidambaram Pillai College for Women, Trichy was founded in the year 1999 by Sidambaram Pillai and it is situated in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu State. The College is affiliated to Bharathidasan University. It is one of the self-financing institutes which is exclusively established for the girls who comes from rural background and it imparts quality of education for its students at affordable cost. It offers education in certain streams namely Commerce, computer applications, Arts and in science stream CPCW has signed the MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) with IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University) to impart computer courses.

• Chidambaram Pillai College for Women offers undergraduate courses B. Com, BCA and B.Sc. in 5 disciplines namely Biochemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics and Information Technology.
• College offers postgraduate courses M. Com, MA in English, Social Work, Tamil streams and M.Sc. in three disciplines such as computer science, Mathematics and Information Technology. It also offers Doctoral Program M.Phil. in two streams such as Tamil & Commerce and even PGDCA program (Post Graduate Diploma in computer applications are also available.
• CPCW fees structure for B.Sc. and B. Com Programs costs approximate INR 2,850 per annum and the total fee charges INR 8,550.
• Admissions for UG & PG courses at Chidambaram Pillai College will be provided based on the merit score acquired in last qualified examination. Minimum eligibility for UG, candidates must have passed in 10+2 in concerned stream and the eligibility for PG, candidates must have possessed bachelor’s degree in relevant specialization.
