Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science Admission

The Institute is popularly known as HITS, established in the year 1985 located in Chennai. It is an autonomous college approved by AICTE and UGC. The Institute maintains academic excellence in the technology and engineering field. HITS offer various courses under UG and PG program in the field of Engineering and Management. Admissions at HITS for these courses are based on marks obtained in the Entrance test conducted by HITS, Merit and National level exam scores. Applications are accepted online for UG and PG course.

B. Tech course at HITS is offered with courses like Civil Engg, Electronics and Communication, Mechanical Engg, Computer Science and Engg, Information Technology, Electrical and Electronics, Aeronautical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automobile, Aerospace, Biotech, Chemical.  

M. Tech course is offered with courses like Automobile, Aeronautical, Composites, Engineering, Internal Combustion, Avionics, Environmental Engg, Structural, Computer Science & Engg, Construction Engineering and Management, Power System, Power Electronics and Drives, VLSI Design & Embedded Systems, Communication Systems, Information Technology, Photonics.

MBA course is offered with Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Media and Entertainment, Sports Management, Aviation Management, Hospitality Management, Hospital and Healthcare Management, Family Business and Entrepreneurship, Regular.

• The Institute offers B. Tech / B. Arch under UG course and M. Tech / MBA / MCA course at PG level.
• Admission for the B. Tech course at HITS is based on the Merit and Entrance exam test conducted by HITS.
• Candidates applying for the B. Tech course at HITS must have passed 10+2 with 50% or any equivalent exam with Mathematics and Physics as main subjects.
• Students applying for the B. Arch course at HITS must have scored 60% marks in 10+2 with Mathematics and Business Mathematics as main subjects.  
• Admission for B. Arch is based on NATA scores conducted by the council of Architecture.
• Eligibility for the M. Tech course at HITS, students must have 50% marks in BE / B. Tech in relevant subjects.
• Admission for the M. Tech course at HITS is based on Merit and entrance test, PI and Group discussion conducted by the Institute.
• Students seeking admission for MBA course at HITS must have passed Bachelor's degree with 50% marks from UGC recognized board.
• Admission for the MBA course at HITS is based on Merit and CAT / XAT / MAT / CMAT scores.
• Eligibility for MCA course at HITS, students must have any degree with 50% marks.
• Admission for the MCA course at HITS depends on Merit, entrance test, PI and GD conducted by the Institute.
• HITSEEE is an entrance exam conducted by the Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science for admission.
• The final selection for UG and PG course at HITS depends on Merit, entrance exam score and PIGD.
• Admission at HITS for UG and PG course is made available online.
• The application form of HITS must be filled online with details needed for admission.
• If the candidates are paying application form fees via DD, they must pay INR 1000/-.
• Students shall submit the HITS application form online with the required documents.
