Basava Academy of Engineering was set up under the leadership of Sri Belimath Maha Samasthana social and Educational Trust in 2002. This institute is successfully providing technical education and has also been recognized by the Govt. of Karnataka.

At Basava Academy of Engineering, Bengaluru, the eligibility criteria is that students must have completed 10+2 with at least 45% marks and for admission the students are admitted based on scores obtained in the KCET entrance exam conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority.
