Institute maintains their own placement department and job placement as efficiently as their students with the minimum package of 3 lakh and more per year. Hostel facility is only available in the center of Koyambedu.

Annammal Trust publishes a newspaper called "Hoteliers Talk" and has an employment portal www.hotelierstalk.com to explore employment opportunities at Star Hotels in India and abroad. Hotelierstalk is an official online and paper works portal of the Annamal Institute of Hotel Management. Students of the past and present of the Annamal Institute of Hotel Management have priority to obtain the correct location by speaking with the hoteliers and also updating the details of surviving student life at www.hotelierstalk.com to obtain lifetime ratings. We provide part-time jobs to our students during their studies. Each year, the Annamal Institute organizes a job fair in collaboration with Hoteliers Talk. The employment fairs of 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 were a great success and almost 150,000 applicants obtained employment through these job fairs
