Online counseling is now open for the AMU Entrance Exam 2022

After the AMU 2022 admission exam results are released, AMU holds online counseling for selecting candidates. AMUEE 2022 counseling dates vary depending on the course. The BA LLB, BA, BSc Life Science, and B.Com counseling schedules have not yet been released. However, the AMUEE 2022 online counseling application form has been released for a few other programs.

Since the results of engineering, scientific, and medical courses, Aligarh Muslim University has begun online counseling. Each course's counseling schedule for the AMU entrance exam 2022 is being released independently.

On AMUEE's official website, results.amucontrollerexams.com, the exam authority has posted the counseling schedule and guidelines for all courses. As previously advised, candidates must present 10 passport-size photographs at the time of physical reporting after provisional admission, along with the mark sheet of the qualifying examination and all other required Certificates / Documents in genuine.

The Counseling for AMU admission 2022 will only be open to applicants who have passed the AMU 2022 entrance exam. https://counselling.amuonline.ac.in is the direct URL to the AMU online counseling portal.

Candidates will receive a temporary seat assignment based on their preferences during the online counseling procedure. Still, the final seat assignment won't occur until all required documents have been verified and the candidate meets the course's eligibility requirements.

Counselling Process for the AMU 2022 Entrance Exam

The university will carry out the course counseling process in the following manner:

The university will post an AMUEE merit list and a chance memo list for each course on its website, along with a counseling timetable. On the same day, the university will also provide a schedule for counseling that includes the dates, times, and categories that will be covered and guidelines for the counseling procedure.

AMU Counselling Document verification and seat allocation: Since there won't be a separate call letter for the candidates, they must attend counseling as scheduled for the given date and time. Additionally, copies of the necessary documents must be sent. Additionally, candidates must choose the course, subject, college, or school of their choice, depending on their rank. The seat allocation process will begin after university officials have verified the candidates' eligibility for AMU. After the procedure, candidates will get a letter confirming their provisional seat allotment.

Reporting and payment of the admission fee: After receiving an offer of a spot in the desired course, candidates must pay the admission fees. For this, individuals must appear in person at the designated AMU College or school together with their letter of provisional seat assignment and course enrolment fee. The preliminary seat allotment letter itself will include information about the course price. The candidate's seat will be verified after the fees have been received.

Documents required for AMU Entrance Exam 2022 Counselling

The following documents, in their original forms, along with four self-attested copies, must be brought by applicants to AMUEE document verification:

• AMUEE 2022 Application form (as submitted)
• AMUEE 2022 Admit card
• AMUEE 2022 results/ scorecard
• Class 12 and 10th-grade sheet
• Class 12 and 10th-grade sheet
• Six recent passport-size photos were uploaded with the application. The image must be a color print on a white backdrop (size - (2.5 x 3.0 cm.)
• A competent authority, Naib Tehsildar, Deputy Collector, or Higher Divisional Officer, must sign any documents relevant to the reserved category.
• For the PWD category, an attested copy of a certificate from a medical professional, at least a civil surgeon in rank, and attesting to the degree (%) of disability is required.
• EWS category income certification
• Documents required for children of AMU alumni include a parent's certificate, diploma, degree, or mark sheet from their final year of a regular course of study at AMU that lasted at least a year. Additionally, a statement from the candidate's parent confirms their connection to the bearer of the certificate, diploma, degree, or mark sheet (final year).
• Copy of the candidates' domicile certificate, attested by the district authority of the state or UT where they were born.
• Certificates from schools or universities at the appropriate level for NCC candidates
• Children of military personnel who died in battle: Certificate from a higher military authority, together with the candidate's committee.

The following categories and the reservation criteria for the specific course will be used to fill every AMU 2022 seat:

• Backward Class
• Schedule Tribe
• Scheduled Caste
• NCC Cadet
• Physically Challenged
• Children of Central Govt. An employee recently Posted/ Transferred to Aligarh.
• Children of AMU Employee
• Children of AMU Alumni
• Belonging to Distant State/ UT
