IIT Delhi was established in 1961. Since its establishment, the institute has successfully graduated more than 48,000 students. IIT Delhi offers 35+ courses in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Management, and Humanities and Social Sciences. IIT Delhi B-Tech program is ranked 2nd in the Engineering category by the NIRF 2021 rankings. IIT Delhi has also secured 193rd rank in QS World University ranking 2021. B Tech in IIT Delhi is available in 13 different specializations.

  • Candidates seeking admission to the B Tech in IIT Delhi must undertake JEE Main as a primary step.
  • Once the JEE Main results are out, the concerned authority will release the minimum qualifying JEE Main cut-off for IIT Delhi.
  • Candidates who meet the minimum qualifying cut-off criteria will be eligible to attend JEE Advanced.
  • Candidates must obtain a high score in JEE Advanced as per the IIT Delhi B Tech Cut-off criteria.
  • The final selection criteria of the candidates will be done through JoSAA Counselling. Thus applicants have to register for JoSAA Counselling via online mode.
  • The most popular B Tech Branch of IIT Delhi is CSE, Whereas the IIT Delhi CSE Branch Cut off score range between 3-100.  
  • The B Tech cut-off for IIT Delhi will be released in the form of opening and closing ranks, and the cut-off varies for each branch and category, i.e., General, OBC, EWS, SC, and ST.

IIT Delhi, JEE Advanced Cut-off for B-Tech admissions

  • To be eligible for admission, candidates must have secured at least 75% marks or be ranked in the top 20 percentile in their 12th board exam conducted by the respective boards.
  • JoSAA does the counseling process of IIT Delhi for B-Tech admissions. 
  • Once the JEE Advanced exam results are out, they will announce the opening and closing rank for each subject discipline. 
  • IIT Delhi confirms admission to the interested candidates according to the minimum rank cut-off.
