GATE 2024 Registration will close on October 13

The Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, will close the GATE 2024 registration process on September 29. The GATE 2024 application form can be accessed at gate2024.iisc.ac.in. However, the deadline for submitting the application form with a late fee is October 13. Prospective candidates can refer to the GATE paper combination list to determine which papers they can take together. However, verifying your eligibility before applying is crucial.

The authority has already announced the GATE 2024 Exam Date. According to the notified schedule, the Exam will occur on February 3, 4, 10, and 11.

 

GATE is a nationwide examination designed to select candidates for admission to M.Tech programs at prestigious institutions such as IITs, NITs, and IIITs. Additionally, GATE scores are used for recruitment by leading Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) like ONGC, NTPC, GAIL, HPCL, PGCIL, BHEL, BSNL, and HPCL, particularly for entry-level positions.

The GATE examination is conducted online as a computer-based test and covers 30 different papers. Candidates are tasked with solving 65 questions within a 180-minute minutes (3 hours). Candidates are advised to review the detailed GATE 2024 Exam Pattern for more information.

These mock tests provide valuable practice and assessment opportunities. As a result, GATE is renowned for its high level of competition in India. Typically, only 16-18% of the approximately 9 lakh registered applicants successfully qualify for the yearly Exam.

GATE 2024 Application Fee

For female SC/ST/PwD applicants, the GATE 2024 registration fee is Rs. 900. All other applicants, including those from abroad, must pay Rs. 1800. Only online payments for the registration fee 2024 are accepted from candidates. Without the application costs, no application will be approved. The website is the only place where candidates must register and complete their applications online. Certificates and other papers must only be uploaded online. No candidates should mail hard copies of their application forms or supporting documentation to IISc or any zonal GATE offices.

 

GATE 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Before submitting the registration form, candidates must review the eligibility requirements. Candidates enrolled in any bachelor's degree are now in their third or final year or have finished any government.
