The consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka will begin the COMEDK-UGET 2021 application process from 22nd March 2021. Eligible applicants can fill the application form by 20th May 2021. Application forms will be available at the official web portal (@comedk.org); applicants can apply through online mode only. To be noted, applicants must ensure that they satisfy COMEDK 2021 Eligibility Criteria before filling the form. At any point, they are found ineligible, and the concerned authority might cancel their candidature.
COMEDK 2021 entrance examination is a gateway for Non-Karnataka students to secure admission in engineering programs offered by the educational institutes in Karnataka State. COMEDK 2021 Examination is scheduled to be held on 20th June 2021 in online mode as a computer-based test. According to the COMEDK UGET Exam Pattern, the questions will be framed based on the 10th & 12th PCM Syllabus. It comprises 180 objective types of questions, and there will be no negative marking scheme. COMEDK will be conducted in 140 cities across India. Applicants are required to choose three cities according to the order of preference while filling an application form.
Students willing to apply for COMEDK UGET shall have qualified in 12th/PUC with a minimum 45% aggregate mark in the science stream from any recognized board. Students who have possessed a Diploma are not eligible to apply for COMEDK. To get eligible for admission in engineering programs, students must secure a minimum of 50% as qualifying marks (cut-off) in COMEDK.
After the conclusion of the application process, the authority will activate the COMEDK UGET 2021 Application Correction Window between 22nd May to 24th May 2021. Candidates are required to correct the details in a form within a specified time frame. Successfully registered candidates will be able to access the COMEDK 2021 Admit Card through online mode. As per the schedule, admit card will be available between 10th June to 19th June 2021.
Candidates who register for the entrance exam successfully will be able to appear for the COMEDK 2021 Mock test. According to the schedule, the Mock Test window will get activated from 15th April 2021. Interested candidates can appear for six mock tests through online mode for free of cost. Candidates must utilize this opportunity to understand the exam pattern and time managing skills to solve the questions.
How to apply for COMEDK UGET 2021
Step 1: Firstly, visit the official web portal of COMEDK (@ comedk.org), click on the registration link, enter the details of mobile number, email ID, and other information to complete the registration process.
Step 2: After successful registration, applicants will receive a unique User ID & Password (Login Credentials) for their registered Email or Mobile Number.
Step 3: In the next step, applicants must log in with the system-generated ID & Password to fill up the online application form. Applicants must fill up all the necessary details such as academic qualifications and be required to choose test centers.
Step 4: Proceed to upload the scanned image of the recent color photograph in JPEG format and a signature according to the prescribed dimension.
Step 5: After uploading the necessary documents, applicants are required to pay the COMEDK 2021 application fees, which cost INR 1600. To check the status of payment, candidates are required to re-login.
Step 6: Upon successful payment, applicants are required to preview the details filled in the form and then proceed to click on the “ submit” option.
