Vels Institute of Business Administration

The Department of Management Studies, which continues to be an important body of the Vel Group, began in the 1998-99 academic year. The technical course was easily adopted by the AICTE, and was subsequently approved by it. The institute offers a two-year graduate program in Business Administration (MBA).The goal is to create leaders who can become known industrialists, competent managers and distinctive leaders. VIBA has a solid and respected advisory board composed of 18 members who have in-depth knowledge in various areas of administration.

• Institute has best teaching and learning process which analogous to the new technological knowledge and adaptation. The members of the faculty have a conscientious plan and regulated teaching methods. Each student and each staff member receives a laptop, and the lessons are done using Power Point (LCD projectors).
•  The classrooms are equipped with WLAN. Professional development programs are an integral part of institutional development.
• The university has also placed emphasis on additional programs and student development activities which includes conducting seminars, workshops, paper conferences, business plans and tests, video projections, administration games, etc.

The Centre for Professional Development of the University of Vels works not only as a body of work to facilitate the smooth functioning of the placement activities on campus, but also to facilitate the training activities of students and ensure that they are located in the best areas of national and international companies. Visits to the industry, which is an integral part of aspirant development activities. The main contributors to the institute include IBM, HCL, TCS, Microsoft, Life Cell, Revature and Thermal Engineering. Provides separate hostels for ladies and gents with all comfort facilities and basic needs, the hostel fees will be nearly INR 1.6L.
