SSN School of Management and Computer Applications which is shortly known as (SOMCA) which is situated in Kalavakkam is an integral of the SSN College of Engineering (SSNCE). This institute is a new cohort B-School recognized with the intention of cultivating a commanding resource base of decision-making talent and processor request specialists.

SSN School of Management & Computer placement details:

Students take internships in a variety of discipline such as IT, manufacturing, analysis, FMCG and government institutions. The companies also benefit from the new perspective and the opinion of the students. Summer Internship takes 8 weeks after the 1st year course in the month of June or July in every year. Students have the opportunity to experience the topics or the concepts learned in the 1st year, take meaningful tasks, apply the concepts learned, develop critical thought forms and generate and use ideas for implementation process. Project internship takes 12 weeks during 4th SEM i.e. in 2nd year in the month of March and end in the month of May every year. Students can be assigned in the areas where there is room for improvement or an issue that needs to be quickly resolved. The internship, led by the faculty, gives self-confidence to excel in the future. The industrial exhibition helps the student to deal with real situations. The internship/placement for the 2016-18 class was completed by around 90% of the students recruited by reputable companies.

The School of Management of SSN is dynamic and proactive with the aim of attracting recognized companies for the placement of MBA aspirants. Students have taught a variety of training courses in communication, soft skills, group discussion, skills and job interviews. The students were employed in various functions in IT, banking and financial services and FMCG. The average CTC was 4.8 LPA.
