Sri Sukhmani Group of Institutions was established in 1979, and it is one of the top-rated professional and educational groups in North India. A group is a self-financing group catering to professional and academic training to the students in that region. The group has celebrated its silver jubilee successfully, and it fascinates various students community all over India. And the group is renowned for its vibrant, rich campus life, noticeable by technological, sports, and cultural events conducted during the year.

• The primary and essential constituents of SSGI are the Sri Sukhmani Institute of Engineering and Technology, located in Derabassi and affiliated to Punjab Technical University, and the approval of AICTE.
• Its vision is to transmute the institute from its current level to a hi-tech, multirole leading seat of teaching, research, and learning.
• Its mission is to make its students obtain problem cracking skills, quality awareness, and a deep intellect of assurance to work and inspire them to take up projects concerned with industries.

The group is managed by a society called ‘Educational society of Professionals and Vocational’ to deliver quality and comprehensive education programs in various fields such as Management, Science, Medical Science, Engineering and Technology, education, and vocational training at the PG UG level. It also cultivates students' desire to select appropriate career to outshine in the preferred profession.
