Chandigarh College of Engineering & Technology (CCET), Chandigarh, began in 2002 to provide engineering programs at the undergraduate and doctoral levels. The college has been affiliated with Punjab University for offering B.Tech and Ph.D. programs for four years. The B.Tech program is having an intake of 60 students in each specialization.

CCET, Chandigarh B.Tech Admissions:

The college provides four specializations in the B.Tech program, with an intake of 60 students in each discipline. The students must have a 10+2 or equivalent level education with 45% marks in the Science stream and JEE Main exam score and Counseling. Lateral Entry to B.Tech program is also provided for Diploma students through an entrance exam called PULEET. The qualified students can apply for admission to the program through the official website and pay INR 1800/- towards registration.

CCET, Chandigarh Ph.D. Admissions:

The doctoral program is offered in the college with four specializations. The students who have an M.Tech degree are eligible to apply for admission to the Ph.D. program. The students will be selected based on the marks scored in GATE or UGC or CSIR NET, followed by an interview round.

CCET, Chandigarh Application Process:

The students will have to apply online from the college website for opting for the B.Tech program. Students opting Ph.D. program will have to download the application form and then duly fill it. The application forms have to be submitted to the college with all the mandatory documents. 

CCET, Chandigarh Reservation Criteria:

  • The college has reserved 204 seats for Chandigarh students' admission and other students' remaining seats.
  • 15% of the seats for SC, 5% seats for Military Quota, 3% for PwD, 2% for Freedom Fighters Dependents, 2% for Sports students, and 149 seats as Open seats are reserved the state quota.
  • 15% for SC, 5% for military, 3% for PwD, and 26 seats for the Open category are reserved under the All India quota.
  • Kashmiri Migrants have a seat reserved for them, including any other quota.
